Each year, at this time, God's people donate, assemble and deliver "Thanksgiving Day Baskets" to needy families in the Bear area so they can have a hot meal on Thursday, November 27th.

Below is the official list to be included in your "laundry basket" donation:
- 1-frozen turkey
- 2-bags stuffing mix
- 5-lbs white potatoes
- 1-can gravy
- 1-lg can sweet potatoes
- 2-cans green beans and/or corn
- 1-can cranberry sauce
- 1-doz. fresh rolls
- 1-tub butter or margarine
- 1-lg can juice
- 1-fresh pie
