Mission: POSSIBLE!

Mission: POSSIBLE is an awesome and exciting choice for all students (7th-12th grade) to be the hands and feet of God in a mission setting close to home. Come and see God through your willingness to serve others with the amazing gift of God's grace.

The mission dates are July 27th thru August 2nd and will be run out of the Meredith Middle School in Middletown. Parent or adult over 23? We need your help, too. For more information contact Sharon Fowler at (302) 836-2862, ext. 19.

Sponsored by Young People's Ministries of the Peninsula-Delaware Conference.

Donald (left) and David Young listen intently while PW Bargstadt (center) gives them the 411 on the art of building the perfect charcoal fire, while James Tyre (right) readies the food prep table.

Everyone at last night's second installment of FVBS had a great time. Won't you make plans to join us next Wednesday night for dinner and fellowship?

And Away They Go!

21 brave campers headed out to CreationFest this morning. This annual 3-day Christ-festival, celebrating their 30th year, is nestled deep in the rural mountains of central Pennsylvania and draws crowds of tens of thousands of youngsters. More than just music, this amazing spectacle honors the Word of God.

The kids will return home Sunday, the 29th. Maybe you'd like to come over to the church and cheer their triumphant return? Watch this blog for an accurate arrival time Sunday.

FVBS Off to a Great Start!

Thunder and lightning couldn't keep them away Wednesday night. A couple hundred folks ventured out for the first installment of Family Vacation Bible School (FVBS) and by all known accounts, left with a full belly and a satisfied heart. Make plans now to join us next Wednesday night, June 25th, for Lesson #2.

7-10 Split!

Pastor Paul, Ms. Linda and Ms. Sandy took the Confirmation Class out for pizza and a few games of bowling yesterday (Thurs). Rumor has it the Pastor was just a little shy of a 300 game.

A special thanks to (L to R) Zandrew, Destiny and Zach for pulling weeds today in front of the church. It's the little things like this that make place so wonderful to be around.

How Sweet it Is!

What's better than spending time with Dad and sharing a sweet pastry? Nothing! The Early Education Center celebrated Father's Day by inviting all center fathers to stop by and have a donut with their kids.

Cornerstone wishes every male a Happy Father's Day this weekend ... now pass me a jelly donut.
