Oh, Yum!

Was that a good breakfast or what! The Boy Scouts served up a humdinger of pancake breakfast Sunday.

And how much did we consume, you ask?
  • 900 eggs
  • 75 lbs of pancake mix
  • Over 1,000 sausage links
  • 9 gallons of maple syrup
Thank you, Troop 902 and Pack 902!

Come Early, Come Hungry!

The Boy Scouts will be serving up their famous FREE Pancake Breakfast this Valentine's Day Sunday before all service times. Bring your whole family and enjoy this annual treat cooked up by the boys in brown of Troop 902. In fact, why not invite someone who's been cooped up the last few days and would love a nice, hot breakfast!

Our hats off to the volunteers of the Property Management Ministry team for digging out the Church. Church Services Cancelled

Due to the State of Emergency still in effect, Cornerstone Church has CANCELLED all weekend services and activities.
Pastor Paul's weekly phone call (you may hear his message, in its entirety, by followling the link in this blog's right hand column) suggests you spend some of your time reflecting on prayer and reading Exodus (an excellent online source would be http://www.biblegateway.com/).

Soup d' sure

Evidently, there was a huge outcry for the All-American Cheeseburger soup recipe. Here it is:

Weather or Not

How do we know if there will be church or not? As a general rule, UNLESS a STATE of EMERGENCY is declared, by Governor Markell, there will be church services. As always, you and the safety of your family should be considered before venturing out anywhere.
We will always make every attempt to post the latest weather issues concerning Cornerstone Church right here on the blog or you can FAN us on Facebook (which you can configure to be sent to your phone). And, remember to listen for Pastor Paul's usual Saturday phone call (if you don't regularly receive a weekly voice message, dial the church office at 836-2862 to double-check your phone number is in the database).
